Here at Suffolk Wellbeing we aim to provide you with tools and resources that can help you improve and develop your mental health, emotional wellbeing and spiritual resilience.

However, these tools are not intended to be used in times of crisis or when you need urgent medical treatment.  If you are concerned about your mental health and need to talk with someone straight away, please look at the list below and reach out.

NHS urgent mental health helplines are for people of all ages.

You can call for:    

  • 24-hour advice and support – for you, your child, your parent or someone you care for

  • help to speak to a mental health professional

  • an assessment to help decide on the best course of care

Shout is a free, confidential and 24/7 text messaging service for anyone in the UK who needs support.

If you are struggling to cope and need to talk, our trained Shout Volunteers are here for you. To start a conversation, text the word ‘Shout’ to 85258.

          0300 304 7000                          4pm-10pm                  SANEline is a national out-of-hours mental health helpline offering specialist emotional support, guidance and information to anyone affected by mental illness, including family, friends and carers.

No Panic

           0300 772 9824             The No Panic Helpline  operates between 10am and 10pm every day of the year. 

During the night hours the crisis message is played. The crisis message is a recorded breathing exercise that can help you through a panic attack and help you learn diaphragmatic breathing. You can also access the crisis message 24hrs a day by calling 01952 680835

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday:     9.30am-5pm

  • Tuesday: 1pm – 8pm

  • Saturday – Sunday: Closed       

  Volunteers are trained in all     types of bereavement and can   help you make sense of how   you're feeling right now.

The Silver Line

The Silver Line Helpline run by Age UK is a free, confidential telephone service for older people. They provide friendship, conversation and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
